Trust in our experience as the longest-running family-owned cruise company on Lake Tahoe to provide an extraordinary experience to view and enjoy the jewel of the Sierra Nevadas. One of the true highlights of any boat tour from South Lake Tahoe is a trip to the sheltered Emerald Bay, a picturesque space fringed with evergreen forest and backdropped by lofty mountains. This two-hour cruise heads straight for the bay, where you might have a chance to spot some of the native, but elusive, wildlife, such as bald eagles and black bears. Soft drinks and coffee are provided, along with snacks, as part of the ticket price, along with a complimentary glass of alcohol for those of age.

Considered one of South Lake Tahoe’s most entertaining water activities, the Daytime Scenic Cruise on Lake Tahoe has been voted “Best Cruise in Nevada” by Nevada Magazine. This 2.25-hour scenic daytime cruise offers fabulous photo opportunities, sunshine, and fresh Lake Tahoe air, which has a way of invigorating everyone around. Dixie II, you'll learn how it was formed, get views of Vikingsholm Castle and learn fascinating history with the narrated tour. Take that private charter one step further with this classy white wine and cheese board-based cruise from South Lake Tahoe. The smaller size of the boat allows you to moor up in a sheltered little cove away from everybody else, giving you the chance to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings. Bliss State Park is a great way to see the sweeping lake shore, lapped by the turquoise lake.
Our boat left from the near by Hill top resort beach/pier. Our boat Captain, Stacy, was friendly and informative. On the cruise to Vikingholm, they serve beverages, after the house tour, they serve a substantial appetizer plate. At Vikingholm, you tour the grounds with a guide who tells about the property’s history. After the tour, you reboard the boat and cruise back to your launch point. This was a very enjoyable trip that I would highly recommend.
